In Southeast Asia, where tourism is booming, modular houses are also widely used in beach resorts and rainforest camps, adapting to the local climate with their corrosion-resistant and heat-insulating properties.
Residential housing is another major application scenario for modular houses overseas, especially in regions facing housing shortages or high construction costs. In resource-rich regions such as Africa and Latin America, where traditional construction conditions are harsh and building materials are scarce, modular houses are widely used as dormitories, canteens, and office spaces for workers in mines and construction sites. These houses are durable, easy to assemble and disassemble, and can be moved with the transfer of construction projects, greatly improving the efficiency of workforce accommodation. In Brazil, where the modular living space market is developing rapidly, modular houses tailored to local climate conditions have become the preferred choice for workforce accommodation in many industrial projects, thanks to their adaptability and cost-effectiveness.
Furthermore, modular houses are increasingly applied in public service facilities overseas. In some remote areas of Africa and Southeast Asia with insufficient public service resources, modular houses are used to build temporary schools, clinics, and community service centers. In urban areas of developed countries, modular houses are also used to build temporary commercial spaces, such as pop-up markets and food stalls.
